A Proud Tradition of Men’s Cricket at Albion

Since 1862, Albion Cricket Club has been home to some of Otago’s finest cricketers, with many going on to represent the Volts and even the Black Caps. Our men’s teams continue that proud tradition today, combining competitive success with a strong sense of community.

Albion fields multiple men’s sides across different grades, offering cricket for all abilities:

• Premier Men – Competing at the highest level of club cricket in Dunedin.

• Senior & 2nd Grade Men – A balance of competition and social cricket.

• Development & Colts – Focused on younger players stepping up into senior cricket.

Player Pathways

Our men’s programme provides a pathway from junior cricket through to senior grades and representative honours. Albion has produced a number of Otago Volts and New Zealand internationals, with players like Brendon McCullum inspiring the next generation.
